KWHotel Free v0.25 released

KWHotel team announces final release of KWHotel Free version 0.25.

During the last three months, tens of customer interviews, five workshops and couple of testing and implementation iterations we have decided to make latest version available to public as final release.

v0.25 contains following changes comparing to version 0.22:

  • internationalization now fully implemented, compatible with tax systems and legal requirements in all countries of the world. Following items have changed:
    • custom tax name, visible in the application and on the bill printouts
    • custom currency symbol, visible on the bill printouts
    • custom bill captions, visible on the bill printouts
    • custom abbreviated business number (e.g. VAT no. , ABN) visible in the application and on the bill printouts
  • additional configuration options available:
    • meal names - users can change names of the meals connected to each reservation.
    • age ranges -users can define names of three age groups and specific discounts
    • custom frame thickness when reservation has a hotel pakcage assigned
  • layout, graphics, new functionality:
    • new layout and icons in confiuration window
    • new, intuitive layout of the reservation window
    • new invoicing window accessible from the reservation window
    • users can now filter calendar by room groups
    • application menu redesigned, obsolete elements removed
    • new icons for the search windows in the calendar screen
    • custom booking confirmation attached to the reservation as *.RTF
    • reminders logic and layout simplified and redesigned
  • bug fixes:
    • hotel packages filter now working correctly
    • number of guests limited by number of beds
    • minor calendar display fixes
    • changes in calendar color codes are now refreshed correctly
    • registration process fix, required fields now marked with asterix
    • junior receptionist access rights fix, now can't change room rates
    • removing customers, rooms, reservations, reminders now requires confirmation
    • minor translation errors

KWHotel Free 0.25 can be installed in two ways:

  1. By downloading new version from our website. This requires prior database backup and uninstalling previous version
  2. By running online updater. To do that please ensure your computer is connected to the internet, close KWHotel application and run it again.
